I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a master's degree from Louisiana State University. There I tailored my studies to clinical social work which focuses on assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental illness, behavioral issues, and emotional distress. I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana with a double major in Psychology and Addiction Studies.
I have worked with adults and adolescents with diverse backgrounds addressing mental illness, trauma, personality disorders, addictive disorders, and co-occurring disorders. I have experience implementing individual, group, and family/couple's therapy. My interest is to assist individuals in attaining their "highest self" through finding authenticity, connections with others, and acceptance of self.
My passion is assisting others in understanding their emotional experiences. I utilize various techniques that tailor to each individual to assist them along their journey of obtaining their most authentic self and meeting their goals.
