I view the counseling relationship as an opportunity to work collaboratively to empower individuals to obtain goals and reach highest potential. I apply a strengths based approach where clients are challenged to recognize their own ability to reach their goals in a compassionate and safe space. Coming to the therapy room can be scary, but I believe taking the leap can help an individual to grow in ways never before realized. I value the importance of theory driven therapy, and I practice from eclectic perspective primarily utilizing cognitive behavioral, narrative, and solution focused therapeutic models.

I am a PLPC in the state of Louisiana, currently under supervision to obtain full licensure. I am a two time graduate from The University of Memphis in Memphis, TN where I received Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and English and a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have 3+ years of Mental Health Counseling.

I’ve worked with diverse populations, including children and adults. My specialties include behavioral issues, domestic violence, addictions, mental health and offender counseling. I do not view any two clients as the same, rather each person presents with their own individual roadmap that I can assist them in navigating.
